Welcome Aboard
Welcome to the inaugural issue of Savannah Skies - the official newsletter of the Savannah Chapter of the Army Aviation Association of America (Quad-A). Whether you’re a Soldier, veteran, family member, or local supporter, we’re glad you’re here.
In each newsletter, Savannah Skies will give you a quick, meaningful look at what’s happening across our aviation community: stories of service, upcoming events, and opportunities to connect, volunteer, and grow together.
As the new Chapter President, I want to take a moment to say thank you. This chapter has deep roots and an even deeper sense of purpose. It’s a privilege to step into this role and help steer the chapter forward - with your support, momentum, and ideas guiding the way.
Chapter Highlights
Earlier this month, we kicked off our relaunch efforts with a chapter survey - and many of you showed up with honest, thoughtful feedback. Thank you. It’s clear this community wants more connection, more momentum, and more ways to be involved. We’re listening and already moving out:
Networking/social events (83%)
Awards & Scholarships (67%)
Development opportunities (67%)
Our new digital home is here: sav: savquada.org is officially live (though still under construction, pardon the dust). From events to volunteer sign-ups to these regular Savannah Skies updates, everything will live there moving forward.
Fresh look, same mission: You’ll notice a new chapter logo across our platforms. Modern, clean, and rooted in Savannah. And for Savannah Skies, we’re leaning into heritage with a logo that nods to the legacy of Army Aviation in Savannah. It’s bold. It’s local. And yes, our swag shop is on the way. Keep an eye out.
